General Physical Examination: The Srl Wellcheck
General Physical Examination is a procedure followed by a physician which includes history taking and a complete physical examination of a candidate or patient who has come in for a health check up or any illness.
At SRL Diagnostics, our Wellness team has designed a General Physical Examination format that has been taken from the latest edition of Hutchison's Clinical Methods. This book is the gold standard for clinical examination and is considered the Bible by medical students. Closely adherent to the Hutchinson’s clinical method protocol, this examination process is termed the SRL WELLCHECK.
This process, conducted by a medical consultant (MBBS or higher qualification ie
MD/DNB), generally starts from the head and finishes at the extremities, and is a
protocol by which a health care provider examines a person for signs of disease and gives
a comprehensive summary of the physical examination findings including:
- Medical history
- Anthropometric Data & BMI
- General Examination
- Systemic Examination
- Cardiovascular System
- Respiratory System
- Per Abdomen
- Central Nervous System
- Musculoskeletal System
- 10. Basic Eye Examination
- Basic ENT Examination
- Basic Dental Examination
- Summary
- Fitness Status
The SRL WELLCHECK, is the hallmark of an SRL General Physical examination and
bring us recognition and repute for following all laid down protocols for all our
investigations and processes similar to our acclaim in pathology.
